Welcome to Careers Unlimited Temporary Division
As a temporary worker, it is essential that we have your details including:
- Banking details
- Tax File Number
- Superannuation details
- Copy of visa (for non-Australian citizens)
- It is also important that your read our OH&S policy, as well as your contract
Payment Details
You will be paid for actual hours worked based on an hourly rate that is mutually agreed. Your hourly rate includes leave loading which covers sick leave and holiday leave. You will not be paid for public holidays unless the client requires you to work on those days.
You will be required to either email timesheets@careersunlimited.com.au or fax (02 6257 8288 your signed (by both yourself and your supervisor) timesheets to our office by close of business each Friday or by no later than 9:30am Monday. Your pay will then be processed and banked on Tuesday. If there are any problems getting your timesheet through to us, please contact your consultant immediately.
Candidate Care While Temping
Careers Unlimited will keep in contact with you on a regular basis to ensure that all is going well. Feel free to call us if you have any questions, or just to have a chat. We have a temp of the month competition that is voted on by your supervisor at the host companies. The temp of the month is also eligible for entry into the temp of the year competition.
Candidate Care for Extended Contracts
Please make sure that you let us know if there are any changes to your plan. Generally you will be given a finish date for your assignment, however, on occasion the assignment may go longer then expected and we will need to be aware of any changes in your availability.
Candidate Care Updates
If you start an assignment elsewhere, please let us know immediately and we can update your file. When you are next available for work again, please contact us so that we can contact you about other opportunities.
Timesheets
Time sheets are emailed directly to our candidates. They are due for submission by 9.30AM Monday mornings and can be faxed, scanned and emailed or hand delivered to the office. Time sheets must be signed by a current employer prior to any wages being paid.
